For the past three years I've been slowly beating myself down because of the "low quality" artwork I've been producing, and have been choosing to post only polished, finished pieces instead of all the sketches I considered less than great.
But today I've finally just done the mental equivalent of throwing my hands in the air and shouting "SCREW IT."
Imma just post stuff without worrying about impressing you guys.
....so from now on, I guess my gallery is going to be 98% sketches and 2% finished genius masterpieces, or whatever.
This is probably where you all go "Well, DUH, Cheeko/Meg. We never really cared," but for me it's kind of a big step forward in what I hope is the right direction. I've been taking this stuff so seriously for so long that it stopped being fun, and lately I've really just teaching myself to enjoy it again. (Which may or may not be harder than you think.)
I just gotta go at my own speed.
