My biggest issue with making pages recently was all the strict guidelines I was holding myself to. Everything had to be exactly just like this or exactly just like that.
But on this page, just to see what would happen, I ignored all of those mental laws. I just cut loose a little and tried not to stress myself out about it.

The result?
Grey shadows.
It doesn't seem like much, but those added effects on that page mean that I was a) not burned out halfway through making the page and b) actually had enough investment and interest in this page to add shading to it. It's a step forward to say the least. I can't say that YES! I'M NOT MISSING ANY MORE DEADLINES BECAUSE I'M BACK YEAH but I'm slowly getting there. My excitement for this story is returning.

Well, aside from all that, we can say that Narini was right about the one thing.

Those boys are in trouble.

I think this page should stand as a testament that going out in large open spaces, in the dark with an unknown enemy lurking is not a good idea.

I like the effects of the page, they certain improved the visual appeal. =)
