Also it seems that the ill effects of demons is instantaneous. Poor Captain, it looks like his face is trying to eat him. D=

Nnnnnope. I'm still not entirely sure how that whole aspect of the universe works. I know they're definitely not organic, and maybe not even solid, to a certain extent. I mean, they dissolve when they "die."
