Seriously though, I guess I need to thank ~
Yubria here for getting me all obsessed with Kavin and Marie again.
Does anyone remember their comic at all?I'm not sure what the situation is here, though. Obviously Kavin the Bodyguard is doing his job exceptionally poorly (or well? in any case he's doing it). This was one of those things where the mental image sprang to mind, and I tried my darndest to get all those emotions in there as best I could. I don't think the composition does a very good job of it, though, so I included the detail shot that I think would have worked much better if I had thought it through a little more carefully.
Anyway, yes.
The way things are looking, if Children of Hate wants to go forward at all, I might have to take over it. Milo is understandably swamped in work and living his own life and trying to get his
own comic project underway (which, by the way, looks awesome - you should read the pages he's been working on in an attempt to get a handle on how he wants to do it:

Admittedly, that was not something that filled me with dread. ("Oh great.
Another project I should finish.") In fact, the opposite happened. I was surprised that I got a little excited about it.
That's something to consider, at least.
QUICK MARIE HEAL HIM but wait you have that disease that makes you sick when you use magic AUGH CHEEKO WHY IS THERE SO MUCH ANGST
Also, this sentence made me laugh out loud: "Obviously Kavin the Bodyguard is doing his job exceptionally poorly (or well? in any case he's doing it)."
I love her dress and the background, although it does seem almost a little too glamorous for the scene, what with all the blood and all. It almost makes it look like Marie is a kind of goddess, which considering how dedicated and in love with her Kavin is might be a fairly accurate analogy. But either way, it looks lovely.
well, look at that. I did manage to make a relevant comment after all, yay!
Thanks for the views, dude.
Dude, you have your own life. You have no obligation to me or deviantArt. S'all good. I'm just happy to see your stuff when I see it.
