For the April A Round of MAX, woohoo!
Maybe my tablet breaking was a blessing in disguise. It'll make me work more on my black and white art, which is actually quite lacking. To be honest, I was afraid I was never going to get this done.

I was really surprised to see I had gotten Zac for this round, because at the time I got the email I had just finished Small Secrets, a side event for a larger comic called Civil War, a parody of the Marvel Civil War. Zac here is actually the leader of one of the main sides, the side I happen to be opposing. The irony!
But anyway. I had an incredible desire to draw Zac himself after reading the comic even though he is our sworn enemy. He's supposed to be a pretty cute guy (and I have seen pictures of the Drunk Duck peeps at the Wizard World's convention, and I think there is some truth to that rumor), but I wanted to see him put that guitar to good use. I like drawing musical instruments too; they're a real challenge, especially when someone's playing them.
I just might be really cheap and enter this picture in the Drunk Duck Civil War Nontest that's going on right now.
