When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Artist's Comments Happy Valentines/Single Awareness Day! What is this? A place that will be, or is, or what could have been? A dream, a reality, or nothing more than a deep desire shared by two souls? A safe place, a source of comfort, or happiness? Yay, poetic descriptions. I was thinking the other day about how I don't draw enough pictures of Ran and Kay together. Kay is, after all, one of the most important characters in 1Q; she's Ran's motivation for... well, everything. He doesn't realize that it's also vice-versa: Kay's memories with Ran are becoming more distant to her, but she clings to them desperately. They're her only source of happiness in her new life. Oooh, I love hinting mysteriously at plot points in a proud, authorly fashion.  Behold the dreaded return of overused Photoshop brushes! Also, drawing the shadows of leaves is a friggin' PAIN IN THE BUTT. I should practice more. The characters shown here are mine. Read the comic? |

I'll agree with Wazzy about the brushes, but also comment that your skin here-- especially Ranu's--looks FABULOUS and all kinds of 3D. Dang, ever time I think I've got something to cheer myself about, you go and show me how to do it better...
However, and most importantly: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! So much cute and wuv! I can't take it! Ranu's face snuggled in elbows! Little tiny ears! ADORATION!
