I'd like to make a big apology to my online friends here... I know I've been mysteriously absent for the past month. It's like I dropped off the face of the planet.

See, here's the thing: I'm living out at my grandparent's cottage, which is located directly behind what we call "The Big House," which is where the family lives. I'm living out at The Cottage because I need some privacy, and my mom drives me freaking insane. Seriously, folks, I won't go into it, but that woman monitors my every move. After a year of independence at college it's hard to go back to that.
But anyway, back to the point: I don't have internet access back there. I always have to come over to The Big House to get online, and with my mom there I can't stay on very long (my mom hates technology). I barely have enough time to check all my comics and email before she starts screaming at me, so that leaves no time to get on AIM.

Additionally, I'm working almost all the time at the deli because they're always short-handed. And then there's just the fact that I get SO LAZY AND UNMOTIVATED during the summer time! Like, what the heck?! I can spend whole weeks just doing nothing, LITERALLY! I don't even have the energy to think straight. Or rather, I don't call up the energy to think straight. I'm really trying to change that. I'm cutting back on my videogaming and I've been going through an anatomy book and practicing my faces, chests, and arms. And noses. I think I can draw a pretty decent nose now.

Baaah, I type too much.
